The Cardiology Centre, Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine opened at Kai Tak Children’s Hospital at the end of 2020. CHF set up a new service centre in Kowloon Bay adjacent to the Children’s Hospital, in order to continue supporting hospitalized children and their families as children’s cardiology develops.
CHF’s new service centre has a ‘Child Friendly’ design, with comprehensive facilities to holistically serve heart children and their families and provide knowledge, psychological, and social support, including congenital heart disease information stations, psychological counseling and emotional treatment rooms, and multi-purpose activity rooms. The service centre has become a unique and indispensable service unit for the benefit of more heart children and their families.
