The CHF Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk 2016 took place on 6 November 2016 at the Tseung Kwan O South Waterfront Promenade. The theme of this year's walk is "Walk With A Heart - Discover the Best You". Exercise is one of the most important factors for heart health. The public participate through walking and making donations towards supporting children suffering from congenital heart diseases and their families. Through the walk, the public show their continuous support for the children and are actively participating in helping improve suffering children’s lives. They can also build up an exercise based healthy lifestyle by taking part in this walk.
On the day, it was our honour to have Prof. Sophia Chan of the Under Secretary of Food and Health Bureau as the Guest of Honor and The Wonder Kid, Rex Tso as the Star of Charity Walk. They joined hands with Dr T.L. Lee, Hospital Chief Executive (HCE) of Hong Kong Children's Hospital, Mrs. Selina Chow Honorary Patron of Children’s Heart Foundation, Dr. C.C. Luk and Dr. Angela Lau, Honorary Advisor of CHF, Mr. Duncan Pescod, the Chairman of the CHF, Dr. K.T. Chau, the vice-chairman of CHF to promote heart health and support children with heart disease.
