The Children's Heart Foundation established the House of the Heart (HOH) in 2000 to provide comfortable temporary overnight accommodation for parents of hospitalized children.
The HOH is located at Unit 419 – 424, Wah Kwong House, Wah Fu Estate. It is 8 minutes drive from Queen Mary Hospital and allows parents to spend more time with their children while they are in hospital while at the same time reducing stress for the whole family. Internet and Wifi service is available at the HOH, while parents can also prepare simple dishes for their children.

Value to Parents
The HOH is not only a comfortable and relaxing hostel, it is also a place for the parents to share and express their feelings. Parents receive support from one other and the professional social worker. This empowers them to manage and overcome the difficult time during the critical moment.
Over the 14 years, nearly 20,000 persons had consumed the service of the HOH. Each family would stay a week at the HOH in average per time.
